As MIT’s new Innovation Fellow, Siegel Family Endowment Chairman David Siegel is stepping into a hands-on role at the Schwarzman College of Computing to help revolutionize AI and supercharge scientific discovery. Working directly alongside students, researchers, and faculty, he’ll help drive next-generation computing initiatives aimed at harnessing AI to unlock new breakthroughs and solve complex scientific challenges.
“Using AI to accelerate scientific discovery is the ultimate engineering challenge. There is simply no better launchpad in the world for that work than MIT,” says Siegel.
