Sabrina Shih serves as an AI Governance Fellow at the AI Governance Lab at the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT), where she works to develop and promote adoption of robust, technically-informed solutions for the effective regulation and governance of AI systems. Prior to CDT, Sabrina was a Summer Fellow at the Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI), where she conducted technical AI governance research into verification technologies for frontier AI companies. She also previously served as the AI Policy Manager at the Responsible AI (RAI) Institute, developing and delivering AI assurance solutions to help organizations adopting AI accelerate their AI risk management and governance maturity. In addition to her AI governance expertise, she has conducted climate policy research for a variety of organizations, including the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
